Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30 1991, is popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is the American artist, singer, and songwriter. His stage name is that of a loved uncle and is also the first name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label deal with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing agreement for GOOD Music with Kanye West. Scott signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. It produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. In late 2019, Scott's label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys that topped the Billboard 200. Scott's single "Franchise", featuring Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, debuted. Scott was the first artist to reach number one on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than one year.
