 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and began her acting career as a child soon after her move to the United States. From 2013 until 2016, she was the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020. Her fame was boosted for her roles in television commercials. Apart from commercial appearances, she was also a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and played a part in a recurring role on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl on Marvel Rising in 2018 following her appearance in the pilot television series New Warriors. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and an American Jew. Her parents, who were two years old, immigrated to America as refugees from antisemitism. They were settled in West Hollywood. Her family's financial troubles caused her to be a part of Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. In her sophomore year she quit and obtained a GED. She went on to get a Bachelor of Arts Communication degree from the University of California San Diego. Vayntrub was a student of improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
